Student Workshops

Our workshops aren’t just about sharing information - they are about building skills and agency. We create brave, non-judgemental spaces where students can unpack the ‘grey areas’ of relationships and sex. We talk about the stuff they might not feel comfortable bringing to their families or teachers: like navigating the ‘manosphere’ online, the pressure to have a certain body type or the anxiety of setting a boundary in a new friendship.

Everything we do is LGBTQIA+ inclusive and intersectional by design. We recognise how systems of inequality intersect to shape every young person’s unique experience of the world. From mainstream classrooms to specialist SEND settings, we ensure every student sees themselves in the curriculum.

A curriculum for the world we live in

Our workshops are built around four core pillars of development:

Identity

Developing a sense of self and navigating change.

Intimacy

Exploring the ethics of sex, pleasure and healthy relationships.

Consent

Building consensual practices in everyday life and beyond.

Digital

Navigating intimacy, ethics and safety in digital spaces.

Identity

  • A grounding session on the physical and emotional shifts of puberty. We share practical tools for looking after mind and body during times of change.

  • Moving beyond ‘body positivity’ to acceptance and gratitude. We unpack beauty ideals, advertising and discrimination.

  • A critical reflection on how gender expectations intersect with identity and how to challenge harmful norms.

  • Specifically for leavers. We focus on boundaries and communication for those navigating new, unknown experiences away from home.

Consent

  • We start by exploring choice, freedom and capacity in everyday life to build a foundational understanding of consent in everyday life.

  • Building on the basics to cover romantic and sexual consent, and how to communicate whilst prioritising respect, enjoyment, comfort and safety.

  • An advanced look at sexual pressure and rape culture. We examine how societal messages influence consent and how to actively challenge harm.

Intimacy

  • Identifying healthy vs. unhealthy behaviors and building supportive strategies for friendships and self-connection.

  • A comprehensive look at bodily anatomy, intercourse vs. outercourse and prioritising comfort and safety over cultural ‘shoulds’.

  • Direct, honest info on STIs, contraception and sexual health clinics.

  • Removing the stigma from pleasure and masturbation. We normalise bodily differences and commit to prioritising joy.
